Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Cosmati is a game made by Jacob Walters. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it.
What Cosmati collects
Nothing. Cosmati:
- does not ask you to make an account or sign in
- does not show adverts
- does not use analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers
- does not include any third-party services that collect data
- does not connect to the internet to play
What is stored on your device
So the game can remember your progress, it saves a few things in its own storage on your device:
- your settings (volume, bass, vibration and similar)
- your best scores and the stars you have earned on each moon
- the special shapes you have collected
- the tracks you choose to save, so you can watch them again
- your results in the daily puzzles, and where you were in today's if you leave it part way
This information stays on your device. It is not sent to me or to anyone else. If you delete Cosmati, it is deleted with it. If you use your device's own backups (for example iCloud backup), your device may include it in those backups, under your device provider's terms.
Sharing your daily result
When you finish a daily puzzle you can copy your result to share it. This copies a short line of text (the puzzle number, your moves and a grid of coloured squares) to your device's clipboard. It is only shared if you choose to paste it somewhere.
Permissions
Cosmati does not use your camera, microphone, photos, location or contacts. It can make your device vibrate during play, and you can turn this off in Settings.
Crash reports from Apple
If you have chosen in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send me anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy, and it does not identify you to me.
Children
Cosmati collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking either. It has no forms and does not ask you for anything.
Changes to this policy
If Cosmati ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, I will update this policy before the change goes live, and change the date at the top.
